Understanding Tuition and Affordability

At The DPS School, we believe that every child deserves an exceptional education—one that inspires curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning. Our needs-based Financial Scholarship Program reflects our commitment to affordability, accessibility, and partnership with families of all backgrounds.

We work with families to make tuition manageable, because we believe that finances should never be the reason a child misses out on The DPS School experience.

What Does Tuition Look Like?

Tuition at The DPS School is thoughtfully structured to reflect the evolving educational experience as students grow. Rates increase gradually by grade level, beginning with our Early Childhood program and rising through Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and Grades 1–8.

This tiered structure aligns with the increasing depth of academic programming, specialist instruction, and extracurricular opportunities offered at each stage of your child’s journey. Every tuition level supports access to DPS’s rich curriculum, caring teachers, engaging learning environments, and signature programs that nurture the children. And with our needs-based Financial Scholarship program available for Kindergarten through Grade 8, we’re committed to working with families to make this exceptional experience attainable.

Financial Scholarship Application Process

We know that no two families are the same—financially or otherwise. That’s why The DPS School offers a needs-based Financial Scholarship program for students entering Kindergarten through Grade 8, designed to adjust tuition costs based on each family's unique financial picture. Rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, our Financial Scholarship application process takes into account factors like household income, family size, assets, liabilities, and expenses to determine a tuition level that’s right for you. Our goal is to make The DPS School education accessible without compromising your family’s financial well-being

Extended Day Program

The DPS School also offers Extended Day for our students in grades K through 8 while school is in session. Extended Day is available Monday through Friday from 3:30 to 5:30 PM. $20/hour on an as-needed basis, or $600/month for families who use the program more frequently.

Mid-Year Enrollments

Mid-year enrolled students will pay the current year's tuition on a prorated basis. Interested in enrolling your child at The DPS School halfway through the school year? Please contact Hannah Walker, Director of Admissions and Communications, for more information.
